Shining Star is San Gabriel Valley’s premier one-stop life skills center for children ages 1–13. Our preschool, after-school and summer camp programs blend academic excellence with real-world readiness—focusing on STEM, public speaking, financial literacy, bilingual support, and the arts. Our mission is to empower students through hands-on learning, creativity, and confidence-building experiences that go beyond the classroom. Conveniently located and designed to support working families, we offer a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive, grow, and shine—academically, socially, and emotionally—all year long.

Afterschool Program
Shining Star’s Afterschool Program goes beyond academics, integrating essential life skills into every aspect of learning. Alongside homework help whether traditional written or digital assignment and tailored curriculum, students engage in activities that nurture teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Our elective offerings, including dual language immersion, coding, and STEM subjects, not only bolster academic prowess but also instill confidence and resilience, preparing students for tomorrow.
Summer School Program
Shining Star’s Summer Program blends academic enrichment with personal growth. Students follow a personalized curriculum while exploring electives like financial literacy, STEM, and coding. Through hands-on activities and real-world projects, they strengthen leadership, adaptability, and communication skills. Our summer program provides a structured, engaging environment where students stay sharp academically and develop essential life skills that prepare them for success inside and outside the classroom.
Saturday School Program
Shining Star’s Saturday Program supports academic and creative development through a well-rounded mix of core subjects and electives. Students participate in language arts, math, public speaking, and dual language immersion, alongside performing arts classes like piano, art, and dance. Every activity is designed to enhance creativity, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth. Through interactive workshops and collaborative projects, students strengthen interpersonal skills and build confidence in a fun, productive weekend.
AI & Robotics Program
Shining Star’s Saturday Program supports academic and creative development through a well-rounded mix of core subjects and electives. Students participate in language arts, math, public speaking, and dual language immersion, alongside performing arts classes like piano, art, and dance. Every activity is designed to enhance creativity, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth. 3D & Digital Arts Program
Our 3D & Digital Art Program begins with a strong foundation in traditional art. Students start by learning basic drawing, painting, and design principles—focusing on form, color, and composition. This beginner-level training builds confidence and artistic understanding. As students progress, they explore digital tools and 3D modeling to bring their ideas to life. Projects encourage personal expression, problem-solving, and creativity. By combining traditional techniques with modern technology, students develop into well-rounded artists ready to tackle creative challenges with imagination and skill.
Dance Program
Our Dance Program blends classical techniques with modern trends to inspire movement, creativity, and confidence. Students explore choreography influenced by hip-hop, K-pop, and social media, including routines inspired by BTS, BlackPink, and NewJeans. Dance classes improve coordination, rhythm, and physical wellness while encouraging self-expression. Weekly sessions include stretching, performance training, and teamwork-based routines. Whether beginners or advanced dancers, students enjoy a fun, dynamic environment that promotes artistic growth and builds strong foundations through dance.
